$17,500

Original engine, and transmission lost to the ravages of time.
I bought this car in 1998, the engine has not been altered in that time, other than a new holley 750 vac sec. to replace the hp series that was on the car, (which was a pain cool days, without a choke).
I decoded the heads which are 71 oval port castings, but I don't know much about the engine, other that what I can see, and tell from owning the car 10 years.
Its a big block, MSD distributor, 6AL box, and Blaster 2 coil. Carb is a Holley 750 that I bought new about 9 years ago its got vacuum secondaries, and an electric choke. Intake is a single plane Edlebrock. Harland Sharp (orange) roller rockers, and Blackjack ceramic coated headers. The block has been decked, so I don't know what its original application was.
At a weight of 3900 lbs (245 lb driver included) this car has run 13.5s @ 106 mph. I've had it to the track 3 times, and it seems pretty consisitant.
The transmission, is a Borg Warner Super T-10, reportedly from an early 70s Trans Am. Which was professionally rebuilt, about 9 years ago. Ram clutch (new then) and Hurst Competition Plus Shifter (also new then).
The Rear end is a 12 bolt posi, with I believe to be 4.10 gears. I didn't count them I used the "have a buddy turn the wheel once around, and count the driveshaft rotation method".
The car has factory power disc brakes with the troublesome dual piston calipers, however in a fit of stupidity I replaced the worn stock disc with "powerstops" from summit, and lost track of the original disc hubs. I also repalced the stock hoses with "Earls" braided stainless steel flex lines.
The supension bushings, have all been replaced with polyeurathane, the front suspension has been rebuilt (10 years ago) with parts from "performance suspensions". I think it was all made in USA stuff. New springs and KYB Gas shocks.
The front upper and lower control (A) arms and brake shields were sand blasted and powder coated gloss black. I added a 1 1/8th front sway bar, and GTO rear control arms (boxed) and a rear sway bar from OPG. It handles surprisingly well for what it is.
The interior is mostly new. The dash pad is nice, the seat covers front and rear are new, the door panels were new about 7 years ago. The headliner also new, but installed by me, to less than spectacular results, (there is a new one in a box in the trunk, that I haven't gotten to having professionally installed). The carpet could be nicer, but its not bad.
The body and paint look really good, but the paint is older by now, and there are chips. The quarter panels were likely replaced at somepoint before I got the car. The trunk floor, and inner wheel houses, have also been patched. The floor boards look real good, (I've never found a hole). I had the carpet out, and been under the car many times.
There is however rust at the bottom right corner of the rear window. If you know Chevelles you know what I mean.
It's got AutoMeter gauges for water temp, and oil pressure, and an AutoMeter Sport Comp "Monster" Tach, with shift light. Factory Tach too, but thats never worked in the time I've had the car. The speedometer has never been hooked up, in the time I've owned the car either.
I truly doubt that I've put more than 5000 miles on this car in the 10 years I've had it.
