1965 Chevelle Malibu SS

$8,000

Here are a few specs:

Outside color is Cameo Beige (trim tag code VV) and it looks like that this is original paint. Interior color is black (trim tag code 714). This car was built at the Freemont, CA plant - 1st week on January 1965 (trim tag 1A). The odometer shows 27,134 miles and is probably 127,134. This is one of the cleanest 1965 Chevelle bodies that I have ever seen.
All body panels are totally rust free with the exception of a little scale on the trunk floor (had some moisture under the mat area). There is a dent in the deck lid and I have a mint rust free deck lid that goes with the car. I also purchased a 7 pc trunk floor kit, but little of it is needed. Both go with the car.
The engine is a 283 (stamped F0820 DE) and should be the original engine. I have not had it running - but should start & run. I was planning on building a Big Block Z-16 clone driver, so the engine was unimportant when I purchased the vehicle.
Very complete car with most every exterior and interior part to complete the car has been primed and blocked in a few areas - see photos. Also has been edged in red around the rear window - I guess someone was planning on "resale red". Again - to brag about the straight body - all panels align very well - bottom edges of the doors - seams - lip that is behind the rear bumper are all totally rust free. Interior is somewhat disassembled for the paint work - interior panels, seats and console included with the car.
