I did not restore this car better than it was in 1966.Bills Chevelle is Regal Red with a black and white interior, (28K jpg), 396-375hp, (40K jpg), M-22 4spd, 4:10 gears with 41,000 miles!
The 396/375 is the only 396 engine that came with a aluminum intake and when the engines were painted the intakes were not covered. The paint on the intake is overspray were the heads were painted. The exhaust manifolds are painted also but the paint burns off them after a few miles. Even my water pump over flow hose on the top has orange paint on the bottom of it when the engine was painted.
