What year seats are these. They are in a 65 post car I bought, but I think they are 66 buckets. Dont really care, just have to recover them and want to get the right year. It should look sweet with the SS trim, buckets and console.
Also, I didn't know where to post this question; How high should the wipers be on the windshield when in the "parked" position? Mine were WAY down by the cowl and that is wrong. Thanks

I don't know what they are, but they are definitely not '66 Chevelle.

I just want to know what they are so I can get right seat covers. Either that, or I am going to have to go custom. It's not like it is all original or anything anyway.

They look like Corvair. On Chevelles the outer and inner trim was chrome. On 'vairs the inner trim is painted black. I think the 'vair tracks may be slightly shorter by about an inch. The seat itself, as far as covers go, may be the same size.

corvair seats are wider than chevelle seats. Thats not a 64 or 65 chevelle seat cover so they were either recovered or came from something else. I passed up a set of buckets just like that but in tan because the guy swore they came from a 65 chevelle SS but I`ve had several 65`s and none of them had that seat cover. I asked him for some measurments and thats where he dropped contact. Could also be out of another 64-65 gm A body from the BOP lines.
