Anyone recognize this column. Owner claims it from a '72 chevelle, but he could not be sure. Something looks a little odd.

Picture is too small and can't see the turn signal lever side of the column.

This is the only picture the guy has and doesn't have the camera. I have asked him for more pictures, but I was hoping someone would see something which could help identify its origin.

Is that supposed to be a tilt column? We are actually looking at the underside of the column. That might be the tilt lever pointing off to the right. Otherwise it has to be the turn signal lever.
As him to supply some dimensions. Steering jacket length. Steering shaft length. Length of the plastic shroud behind the steering wheel. Then compare to yours. Jim |
